With the cancellation of a show in Poteet the San Fernando
show got bigger. As San Antonio prepared to Spring Forward San Fernando gym
hosted a 33 bout amateur card showing its new paint job. Chilis Southpark Mall,
Wal-Mart and Little Clues day care sponsored the event providing trophies and
medals for all 33 bouts. The event also marked the debut of a certain local
official. Local violinist Patricia Sanchez got the event started with a beautiful
rendition of the national anthem.
