0400 Loading Dock Culinary Warehouse.

Eva was last down climbing up the steps at the end of the dock she would help bringing the four door pick up.  Jose and Stippy had clocked in and were waiting for the white steak bed to arrive.  The dock was dark except for a few lights that worked the full length.  Half the illumination that would be on the dock was not working.  The park for too long had been on the chopping block and maintaining the park was still neglected.  It was a tree misshapen by a wind that no longer blows.

The Steak bed made its arrival Josepeh had his khaki shirt hanging out no name tag no belt he had gone through the night like that.  He saw Stippy "You do that again with the lemonade and fruit punch I'm going to write you up"  Stippy commented "Can I write you up for no name tag no belt shirt hanging out"  Eva officially the manager in charge of commissary run said "Behave boys" The obese short Joseph growled and walked down the dock.  Jose stifled a laugh.

Stippy got the chock removed and quickly boarded the white steak bed truck.

Doralisa clocked in.  She was frustrated she had seen Paul and Steve had left in a hurry.  The new head of culinary ops was annoying.  It was becoming more and more apparent to her that the guy treated people the way he treated equipment.  Kyle the bald headed wonder from Orlando was cocky arrogant and a bit deceitful.  She was now unofficially in charge of day crew at the bakery and she endured Kyle the best she could .  Her first task this morning was to help organize the bread that was going out to the park that morning so that it could be picked up by Jose Stippy and Eva.

She started putting like with like Foccicoa bread for Castaway went with the cookies.  It was all about reverse order.  What was delivered last went on the truck first.  Kimmy showed up and clocked in the two started working because soon enough the trucks would arrive.

The White Steak bed arrived in the back area with Stippy spotting.  The sky was dark and a few clouds popped over head the light of the quarter moon reflected on the park.  Jose slowly dismounted the truck.  Eva arrived in a parking spot behind the fence with four door Dodge pick up.  It was time to load up.

Jose went to the bathroom going across the kitchen hanging a left.  Stippy started sorting out.  Dora had been nice enough to put Castaway and Eats in the same speed rack and  the two racks were furthest out.  Stippy.  Eva realizing that the pick up would be used for the cold cuts  without a word started helping Stippy.  The two speed racks for the regular bread were placed on the lowered lift gate of the steak bed.  A quirk of the steak bed was that it's left gate  going  up and down always was as level as the truck.  Due to the way the racks were loaded Eva would work her two hands one  operating the lift gate motor switch the other  keeping a steel lever down keeping the lift gate from closing.  The first two speed racks went up.  Jose emerged from the bathroom with washed hands and we went inside the freezer he rolled out a full food rack that had the cakes for Castaway.  Following that came the cookies which were slid into the rack that held the cakes for Rio.  Rio only had a single rack.  Following that came four speed racks for Voyagers.  Mango Joes took two speed racks.  Sea Fire weighed in with four speed racks.  Sweet Treats took three speed racks.  Jose muttered busy busy busy.

It was not time for milk crates that held bags of sliced meats.  During the week this whole run would have done in a box Penske Rental truck.  This was Saturday so the steak bed truck  which was 25 percent larger could not carry the whole load.  Even the pickup up would carry a couple hundred pounds of sliced turkey and ham in addition to 75lbs of whipping cream.

0420 Inside the Park(From Game Center to Sea Star Market)

Night Landscape took advantage of the fact that Culinary Ops was now in a shift change the tempo increased slightly as they could get more work done.  A small four wheel drive golf cart struggled to tow a trailer full of condensate water from a tower near the games center.  The air-conditioning that had cooled the large building also was an additional source of water.  The golf cart went on the perimeter road around and up to Sea Star Market.  It was driven by Brandy.  Gurillmo was sitting next to her.  The two brought a stop to the car right in front of Sea Star market.  Brandy activated the pump  Guirellmo being the taller of the two started the long wand and the condensate water flowed into the hanging baskets that dotted the park.  In the white hue of the floodlights the two could see the flowers perk up.

Near the top of the park a green dumpster was hooked up to the park ops tractor.  It was full of broken down cardboard boxes.  It was bound to the bailer where it would be compressed and  but into huge bails and then those bails would likewise be sold.  The older man moved with deliberate haste he would try to avoid the steakbed which he knew would be coming this direction in a few minutes.

The simple irony was that at night the park could see its own traffic jams.  There was landscape that needed to be attended to.  The CO2 merchants would fill large tanks on a periodic basis.  The dumpsters and cardboard would be taken care of by the light of the moon.  There were deliveries to be made by culinary warehouse.  Asphalt paths that in the day saw thousands of park guests saw a whole host of park vehicles doing any number of tasks that needed to get done.

The park has a beauty at 0440-0500 that few know.  Jose and Stippy started unloading the truck and bringing the food into sweet treats.

Eva went onto the Oaks to start getting the lunch meat into the cooler

0510 (Back of Par)

The CO2 truck arrived at gate two.  Anthony a retired Army Warrant officer was waiting for the truck.  He was one of the park's environmental guys.  He got into the truck and directed the truck on its own delivery route  The truck's first stop was behind the Game Center.  The hose was hooked up and the CO2 was pumped into the larger tank.  As it was pumped the hose became super cooled and the hose soon bore its own coat of ice as the humidity in the air condensed around it.   When the tank was filled the hose was purged the sound was quite audible as it left  a grayish revealing itself on the parks lights.  cloud of instantly condensed water vapor that became snow falling down on the ground.  The snow quickly melted.

Oaks

The white Steak bed joined Eva.   The drive to Oaks had been done across the front of the park.  The backing in was done by the skilled driver Jose who upon seeing nobody else was there told Stippy to sit down as he did the 90 degree turn and back inn near the service end of the building.  The cargo strap was first removed from the load and with her on the bottom each of the four speed racks came off.  They were walked in the darkness into the kitchen for which Eva had the key.  Two of them went to the desert walk in refer.  The other two went out by the buns that night crew had already delivered.  Then came the empty bottled water cases the two empty pallets and two empty speed racks which had to be taken up.  One of the chores of commissary run was to pick up emptys.

0530 In front of Sea Star Market

There was a traffic jam as the C02 delivery tried to get behind Oaks.  Landscape was putting in some new plants around Sea Star and the Commissary run was trying to head to Mango Joes.  The pathways were only one across the hypotenuse slowly order as created.  The landscaping ATVs went into happy harbor.  The C02 truck went around an the big white steakbed made the turn and continued its way to Mango Joes.

Corral Behind the Aquarium

The Clysdales heard the bottlenosed dolphins barking and had given little thought to the  big white steak bead that twenty minutes ago had passed there area behind the aquarium.  The hay was good and it was nice to be out of the stall they walked around and hung out in the predawn darkness of Sea World San Antonio.

The golf cart made another trip to the condensate tank behind the games Center.  The small tank and motorized unit was filled again.  The plants in planters endured the heat and needed great amount of water.  They plants that added color above park guests heads needed water every day.  The good news was that humidity provided a great source of free water.

At Mango Joes the cycle of the commissary run continued full speed racks off empty cases and pallets on along with empty speed racks the beat of Sea World always consisted of pulses.  The trio hurried they were losing time with the traffic tie up near Sea Star.
