South Texas can be harsh San Antonio perched on its northern fringe marked the most northern expansion of New Spain on the plains of Texas. Simply put much beyond what is La Villita things get rough and harsh. The extreme nature was about to flash as a Cold Front was marching towards San Antonio that would plunge things from staggering near spring like warmth to something altogether different.

In October Ruiz fought Celina Salazar to a draw. Christina Ruiz is the more talented of the two Salazar still has the stronger work ethic. What I witnessed last night bore that out. The fight will six rounds and on hostile territory. Christina was robbed in my opinion the last bout on hostile territory.
