The wind had been howling that night. A massive volume of cold air from points far north had shoved down the night before. Adjustment time….indoor treadmill work before a sparring session. 

Like the card Christina's training routine had been effected by the weather.  A workout in prep for a fight card marked by a change in the weather.

December 4^th brought snow in Texas including Austin and that city in the far north Houston. San Antonio was on the dry side of the blast. The fight card seemingly rushed has made final changes for the more competitive. Cantu remains at the head of the card.

Jorge face the fact that the cold allowed him to catch one and that got him off the card while.....the delay helped Cantu's preparations and an undercard bout got added of interest!

Omar Gonzales arrived and as he did he changed the radio from the rap Christina had on to classic rock while she was in the ring.  He was offered a fight he has remained in shape and quickly says yes to a pro debut he will be fighting a boxer out of the valley.  Gabriel Gomez who will be going norte.  Yes San Antonio is colder then the valley this time of the year.  This bout will be interesting as well Gonzales is a seasoned amateur who is in shape and as an amateur has shown consistency.
